The 7,500 SF building was added to the existing Broadway Automotive campus, and is the new home to the Volkswagen line of automobiles. The challenge for the Bayland team was to construct a building that makes sense from an energy conservation and sustainability perspective, but added little or no cost to the project. Bayland's design team worked closely with Volkswagen team leaders to develop a facility that both met Volkswagen's brand standards and prototype designs, and also state and local ordinances.
