Project Update for Drake Dairy's Highland Facility in Elkhart Lake, WI
We are excited to share the latest progress on our current project with Drake Dairy at their Highland Facility! The Bayland team is hard at work expanding their operations to meet the needs of a growing herd.
We are currently transforming their existing double 12 parlor into a high-capacity double 36 parallel BouMatic milking system by adding a new double 24 expansion. Our concrete crew is making headway on the interlocking form-filled walls, while infrastructure installation for the milking equipment is already underway.
Beyond the parlor, the footprint of the future is taking shape. Groundwork is officially in progress for a new 256’ x 492’, 12-row, 1,000-cow tunnel-ventilated freestall barn. We will also be expanding the existing holding area and constructing a new breezeway to ensure seamless connectivity between the new and existing facilities.
